"Its a beautiful day in Cedar City"

After two very long stressful weeks dealing with finals, moving out, saying goodbye to roommates and the cottage crew, being homeless, and finally moving into out new place I think I am finally back into a normal routine. Sleep, work, eat, work out, sleep, work, eat, work out, sleep, work, eat, work out, and Sleep! Ha! Love it! I decided the other day that I need another hobby other than eating and watching TV since that's all I've been doing in my spare time.
After it rained, hailed, and snowed Monday when we were trying to move it has been beautiful here in Cedar. It also seems like the weather may try and act like May...Its weird! Living down here makes you really love the outdoors and I honestly wish I did more things outside ( or could afford to do things haha).
I have a sudden urge to go camping too! I never wanted to go camping when I was younger, but now for some reason I really miss it and see myself as one of those "Lets go to the mountain every weekend" kind of person. My roommate Karlee told me yesterday that I am going to have to marry rich because I want so many toys like trucks, 4 wheelers, trailers, boats and a real big nice house to add to it all :) We will see if that happens... :) I've also been very baby/kid hungry the last couple days because I seem to see them every where!!! Also my friends friend had a baby girl and she is the cutest little thing ever!
However, I'm in this new mind set where I want to finish school before I have kids and get married! Its weird because a month ago I didn't even care if I did or not. I feel as if it has taken me this whole year to realize what I want with my life. After moving away from my parents I still had this hold on me that was dragging me back to Vernal. Learning so much about myself this last year in college with roommates and other relationships made me really find out who I am and that I don't have to be in Vernal to be that girl. I want to thank my roommates and friends here in Cedar who helped me realize all that! Its been a great learning experience this past year and I'm glad I can finally start breathing again.

So I wasted time looking at pictures and quotes to explain my stress and these two fit pretty darn well. Now that I have been distracted for more than enough time I'm back to stressing out about my crazy hectic life! I'll maybe write after finals and being homeless for a couple days :)

"Do it while your young"

This last weekend was one of the best weekends I have ever had in my tiny little life of 18 years! Even though I am lacking in the sleeping area...It was totally worth it! I didn't go to any of my classes Friday or today or get any homework done over the weekend :) Sorry Mom!

The weather was B E A UTIFUL all weekend now that it looks like its going to rain all week :( Friday I got to take a wonderful nap which was truly needed after my long and stressful weekend. After I got off work I journeyed to "The Cottage" like always after watching a very funny movie we decided we needed to do something more that just watch movies all night. Casey and Karlee made up a picture scavenger hunt! Rhet, Cenzlie, Stormie, and me were on a team while Casey, Karlee, Kelsey, and Jade were on the other team. We made some great memories that night and have great pictures to prove it.

Saturday I had to get up and go to work while everyone else slept in and then went to the RHA Carnival for housing. However, my roommates Nikki and Kelsey were kind enough to bring me some cotton candy while I was at work :) As I was walking down the hall to our dorm room after work the gang said we were going on a walk and I had like 2 minutes to get changed. A lovely walk up the canyon was perfect for a day like that. We stopped up by the waterfall and talked about deep things of the heart. Afterwards we went to a play entitled Godspell. It was about Jesus and his teachings while on earth and was done very well.

It was such a nice day and for some reason that made everyone want to have a camping experience that night...okay more just like a bomb fire...not really a difference though. So me, Kelsey, Karlee, Rhet, and Casey ended up going up to Kelsey's friend :) Jason's friend LaMont's property. We had our fire about half way up because Jason's truck got high centered.

After the fire had died down a little we decided to go up to see LaMont's cabin so we all piled into his truck . The only problem was there is still snow up in the mountains. We made it through one snow drift with a couple tries no problem, but when we came to a whole stretch of snow and mud. We will just say that the one try did not work as well as some people had planned. Of course I was the smart one who wore flip flops and I didn't do much help. But it worked out to my advantage because I got to stay in the HOT truck and listen to music while every one had to pull the truck up the hill we had slide down. It was a great night full of laugher and we even made it back in time to make a trip to Walmart for some milk and Karlee to be on duty at 8 am.

I would have to say an all over great weekend! I'm real excited I get to go home on Wednesday for Easter! Guess we will see how this week goes :)

T.G.I.F!

After a very long somewhat depressing week IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY!!! Yes I know it’s real weird for me to be depressed or sad or anything but happy, but shockingly enough it happens after not hearing from a boyfriend and best friend for 3 weeks. Along with failing 2 tests and having many projects and presentations coming I was extremely stressed out! I'm still kinda stressin cause I do have those projects and presentation due the beginning of next week’s hopefully this weekend I don't die from overload of homework or fun since I will probably avoid the homework till the night before :)  I also had my first Resident Assistant interview yesterday which I don't believe I did too well on but I have a second change on Tuesday so Ima gonna have to step my game up a lil! (sorry for the gangster language ... it just kinda fit lol)

Anyways after yesterday my week and my attitude went up extremely! The morning started like any other, waking up and headed to Human Sexuality, learned WAY too much about STI's that I didn't want to know about, then went to the mail not like I had any mail...BUT I DID!!! Elder Ceja had finally written me from Canada! We found out it takes about 10 days to get something from him to me or me to him :( However, he is on an island so it kinda makes sense. He is loving it though and has a 6" 4' companion! FUNNY! I was just real excited to hear from him after such a long stressful and dramatic week.

"The Cottage Gang" went to Cafe Rio and had a wonderful late night treat of chips and guac! Its the best thing ever! Harry Potter 7 part 1 also came out at midnight last night and of course we went becuse Rat about had a heart attack when we remembered. The midnight releases have seriously gone to pot though because there was only like 10 people in line! That’s nonsense! We tried to stay awake and watch all of it but we are so exhausted! So today everyone sluffed school and slept so we could start our Harry Potter marathon for this weekend! I'm so ready for a carefree weekend!

One more stressful week then V-TOWN!!! I cannot wait! People say they hate Vernal, but I honestly love it! I hate not being there this weekend because my little sister is going to Prom with her guy and I want to be there! I hate not being home to see my little siblings grow up and the house finally getting fixed up. I guess mostly I miss my family and not having people that I know and love around me at all times. Can't wait to go back! At least there is just one more week of school, finals, and then we get to be homeless because University Housing wont let us stay that weekend. I think we pay enough there we should be able to stay the whole dang week! Whaterr! At least it will be all over soon and hopefully be able to stay warmer!

Taco Tanning Tuesday!!!

Usually, I HATE Tuesdays! I have class and work and more classes! I don't get home till almost 7 at night and its a very long day. However, today we decided to become apart of Taco Tuesday! Cafe Rio is my most favorite place to eat ever and when you add only 1.50$ Taco's its the best place in the WHOLE world! Tanning is my relaxing most favorite stress reliever ever! When I'm laying in the bed I feel like I'm on the beach soaking up the sun :) So from now on me and My Best Friend Kels will be going to eat Taco's from good ole' Cafe Rio and Tanning at Forever Summer! I love Tuesday Nights!!!

Evil!

Mondays are the root of all Evil! People who are happy on Mondays are TWICE as Evil and Must be Slapped!!!  
But on the bright side they only happy once a week...And now that it is truly Tuesday I should stop complaining and go to bed because today is a New day and 
hopefully a much better next 24 hours.
